1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using CampusMint, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use our services.
2. Description of Service
CampusMint is a college management platform that provides tools for:
- Attendance management
- Study material sharing
- Assignment management
- Announcement and notification systems
- Other educational management features
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Registration
To use CampusMint, your college must register for an account. Individual users (professors, students, administrators) are created by college administrators.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
- All activities that occur under your account
- Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use
4. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
- Use the service for any illegal purpose
- Upload harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Share your account credentials with others
- Use automated systems to access the service without permission
- Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
5. Content and Data
5.1 Your Content
You retain ownership of content you upload (study materials, assignments, etc.). By uploading content, you grant us a license to store, display, and process it as necessary to provide our services.
5.2 Prohibited Content
You may not upload content that:
- Infringes intellectual property rights
- Contains malware or harmful code
- Is defamatory, obscene, or offensive
- Violates any applicable laws
6. Intellectual Property
CampusMint and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by CampusMint and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
7. Pilot Program
Colleges participating in our pilot program receive free access for a specified period. Pilot terms:
- Pilot duration is typically 3 months
- We may request feedback during the pilot period
- We reserve the right to modify or end the pilot program
- After the pilot, colleges may continue with paid subscription or data export
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We are not liable for any loss resulting from service interruptions.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CAMPUSMINT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.
11. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the service immediately, without prior notice, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the service will cease immediately.
12. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra.
